Serious & Complex Injury Solicitor
If you weren’t in the legal sector, what would you be doing?
I would probably be an Accountant. I am a very logical thinker and I really enjoy working with numbers and data. I get a huge amount of satisfaction from working through complex mathematical problems, which comes in handy when working on lengthy Schedules of Loss.
What does your ideal day off look like?
My ideal day off would involve lots of fitness, food and family time. I would get up early, just as the sun is rising, and walk my dogs along the riverbank, take in some fresh air and collect my thoughts. I try to do this every day as I find it really peaceful. Then I would go home to a breakfast of freshly made pancakes, lovingly made by my husband.
After that I would go to my CrossFit gym and spend a few hours training with friends and working up an appetite, before heading out for a late lunch with my husband and son to a lovely country pub.
We’d walk off our food on a long woodland walk, spending some quality time together and then make our way home, get into some comfy clothes, and settle down to watch a movie together, with lots of snacks of course.
Favourite place in the world?
My absolute favourite place in the world is a small town in Northern Italy, Borgo Val Di Taro. My Dad’s family is from the area, and I have many fond memories of long summer holidays spent there with my extended family on their various farms, helping out and enjoying all of the produce that they make and sell to the surrounding towns; milk, cheese, salami, fresh veg; it’s all delicious!
It’s a very basic town, with very little going on, but the way of life there is so relaxed and slow paced, I love it. I look forward to taking my son there soon.Get in touch Our people
